Rip is our puppy from 2cutehavanese. I live on Nevada and Rip was born in Texas. I picked Rip out from photos, videos, and phone conversations with Lola about his personality. She told me he was really playful, yet very sweet and liked to be right next to you or in your lap. I told her that was exactly the kind of dog I wanted! I didn’t see him in person until he arrived at Las Vegas airport on his “gotcha day”. I got my Lexi about 14 months ago. I found 2 Cute Havanese on the AKC website and was delighted you were close by in the Metroplex. I also found 2 Cute Havanese in the BBB listing with a great rating, so I felt confident contacting you. Your group was wonderful to answer all of my questions as this was my first Havanese. I was so pleased with the whole process - taking care of the business process, picking out my puppy (You were very patient with me alerting me of each new litter until I found just the puppy for me.), being updated with pictures as my puppy grew, and picking up my puppy. I have to mention the wonderful notebook with great information about the Havanese breed, as well as the pertinent details of my puppy’s health and AKC certification. When I took my pup to the vet for her first visit I brought that notebook with us. My vet was so impressed with it and all the information in it, and of course she loved my puppy, too!
Lexi, my black and white Havanese, has delighted us from the moment Lea put her in my arms. She has such a fun, spunky personality and fitted in with our black lab right away despite their size difference. I chose a Havanese by reading the book, The Right Dog for Me, and she sure is the right dog! She is a fun loving, non barking, gentle dog that is great with children, non shedding, hypoallergenic, and sturdy little companion. I can’t say enough good things about her! Getting Snickers from 2Cute Havanese was the best, very best, thing we did during the pandemic or ever! Though we couldn’t meet him before meeting him due to the pandemic, he matched us very well in temperament and personality. We fit each other like a glove. We weren’t sure what to expect buying sight unseen but Lea kept us updated with photos of our developing puppy. We relied heavily on the website for information prior to bringing him home. Picking him up was such a joy! Again due to the pandemic, Lea met us in the front yard with Snickers in her arms and put him in ours. It was love at first sight. Everything she told us about the breed was absolutely true! She LOVED the stories we relayed back over the months, sharing our joy and also giving us any pertinent information needed. I just wanted to write you and tell you what a fantastic puppy Tag has been or his new name Teddy since he looks straight up like a teddy bear!! The entire process of getting him was great. You were so easy to work with and understanding over the allergies. We do appreciate how you let us come play several times with absolutely no pressure of purchasing.
I can attest that these are quality, amazing puppies with amazing temperaments. It is obvious you raise them in great environments and they come already so well socialized. Teddy is a wonderful puppy. He barely cried at all in his pen and by the 3rd day none at all. We have had to do the indoor potty training route since our sons have such severe grass and pollen allergies and he has done fantastic. From day one he was using the grass mat nearly perfect and by day two no accidents.
Also, with the severe dog allergies in our family no one has reacted to him at all!! Which was a huge encouragement since we were reacting to every other hypo allergenic breed we played with. We were seriously convinced we would not be able to ever have a dog again, and now we have one and with no allergic reactions! Just wanted to write you and say thank you! CoCo Testimonial 2019 Hello Lea, I feel terrible that I haven't corresponded with you since I picked up my puppy months ago. I want to tell you how much joy she has brought to my life! She is so precious and lovable. I thought I'd share some recent photos - although they are not really that great. I'm a little envious of people who are able to get good photos of their havis...mine is just way too busy to sit still for a photo!! She is still very bouncy - - like a Tigger. "Double your pleasure, double your fun,
Get two Havanese, two Havanese,
Two instead of one.
After bidding our last pet goodbye, my husband and I vowed to never get another pet. We continuously had dogs and cats since 1972. Our rationale for not getting another animal was that we wanted to travel. And, we were looking forward to not having the expenses associated with pets. Last, but not least, I was weary of flying fur. Being petless made sense.
Less than four months after vowing to remain free of furry creatures, I caved in. It did not seem normal to walk into an empty house. With no tails wagging or looks of love shining in those bright eyes, my determination to remain strong gave way to that yearning of wanting to bring another bundle of furry energy into our home. The search began…
Once I identified the criteria we were looking for in a pet, Google came to our rescue. The dog that met every item on our check list was a Havanese. When I told my husband, his response was, “What in the world is a Havanese?” He didn’t know whether it was a dog or a cat. Until then, I had never heard of the breed either. The next task was to find one of those little critters. What a daunting search. Having been scammed by a not so reputable breeder found on the Internet in the past, we were a bit leery of going that route. However, no one we knew ever heard of the breed either. So, it was either ditch our choice of breed or hope to find a breeder that stood out above the rest. My cursor rested on Two Cute Havanese. Looking back, that Two part was maybe subliminal messaging that I did not pick up on!
I contacted the breeder and the rest is history. In early Sept. 2014, our first little girl arrived into the world. She was an adorable black and white Havanese just like her mother. It was love at first sight. We got to bring her home at the end of October. Rani rapidly began to rule the roost. She had no problem working her way into our home and hearts. She was endearing and lit up the room with her presence. All was well once again in our home. Our sweet little Rani became our constant companion. Life was good. Then, a few short weeks later, the call came…
Evidently, I did a bit too much bragging on Rani to the breeder. She called to ask whether we would consider taking a chocolate puppy that was born with some vision challenges. Her visual acuity was unknown. Otherwise, it was thought the puppy was healthy in every other way. My first response was, “No.” I could not see how in the world we could make room for another Havanese. Our routine was set. However, when I mentioned the dog to my family, my “No” was quickly changed to a “Yes.” I don’t know whether it was my 9 year old granddaughter telling me she had always wanted a blind dog or I sensed Rani really needed a little sister. We soon found ourselves bracing for the unknown.
Any reservation we had about bringing Chava into our home vanished the minute she and Rani met. Although they are only two months apart in age and not related by blood, they quickly became an inseparable duo. Rani sensed right off that Chava had problems with her vision. She instinctively became her personal Seeing Eye dog. To watch those two together in the early days was astounding. Rani showed Chava the boundaries around the swimming pool. She also showed her all of the shortcuts through the bushes in the backyard. It took no time at all for them to learn how to play hide and seek. In the beginning, Rani did take advantage of Chava not being able to clearly see at times. However, Chava’s heightened sense of smell and hearing became her strong suit in hunting the elusive Rani down.
We have discovered over the past several months there really are advantages of having more than one Havanese at a time. When one dog is being naughty, the other one will invariably find us to tattle. Going on walks with two dogs eliminates the problem of who is going to get to hold the leash. Neither one of us has to have an empty lap. We have had no issues with separation anxiety by having two Havanese. They entertain one another without any destruction when we are gone. Although their personalities are different, the core criteria we were looking for are the same. They are both great around people of all ages. They are intelligent and very quick to learn commands. Their agility is amusing. They are not excessive barkers. Nor are they aggressive around other dogs or people. And, my husband does not let a day go by without saying how glad he is we have both of them.
We found we can still travel. Family and friends always offer to keep them for us. They have seen how Rani and Chava entertain one another. And, in turn, entertain everyone in the room. So far, the only expenses for the dogs have been routine. The veterinary always comments on how healthy these dogs are. And, since Havanese do not shed, my concern of flying fur is a mute issue. Now, if I can just teach them to pick up their toys and return them to their toy box when they are finished playing, we will have it made! I wonder whether a third Havanese could be taught that trick???
If you are looking for a cheap Havanese from a puppy mill, keep looking beyond Two Cute Havanese. These ladies earn every penny they charge for their dogs. And, I will say the dogs are worth every penny. Both Rani and Chava came to us fully socialized. They already knew the command, “Sit.” All shots and records were up-to-date. And, there was total transparency in their operations. I’ve personally been in two of their homes. They treat all of the litters like extensions of their own family. Once you buy a puppy from them, you, too, become an extension of their family. I’ve been blessed by the association with Two Cute Havanese and look forward to many years of pleasure and fun with Rani, Chava, and who knows—maybe a third!"

Finn & Scout (the Aussie) are the best of friends. They do everything together. Finn even follows her into her kennel when she gets in trouble & sits there with her. It's too funny.

Socialization??? Are you kidding me? I can honestly say I have never brought a puppy into our home as socialized as Rani. You and your family (as well as Lola and Cassie) have done a terrific job of socializing Rani. We are continuing the process, but must say she is already well on her way to being a socially well-rounded ball of fur. She explores every nook and crannie she can find. What seems to really thrill her is when she can dig out dust balls from underneath and behind furniture that I cannot reach! Do I remember you saying she was laid back? When might that be? Ha! The only time she isn't playing is when she is asleep. Even then, she displays dreams of running and playing. She is extremely intelligent. She already understands several words and phrases. Can you tell I'm impressed and just crazy over her? She has already brought us great joy in the less than 4 days she has been in our home. I can see why Lola had her eye on her! Oh, you can tell Randy...SORRY...her forever home is quite secure and smitten beyond words.

"We brought two puppies and their mom (a retired breeding dog) home from 2 Cute Havanese in late May.
Our experience with 2 Cute Havanese was outstanding at every step. In the process of finding our three new dogs we had the chance to interact with Cassie, Lea, and Lola and all are wonderful, smart, caring women who truly love the Havanese Breed. "Words can't express how AMAZING it's been working with 2 Cute Havanese. This was our first journey into dog ownership, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Owning a puppy can be incredibly scary, but Cassie, Lea, and Lola made me feel 100% at ease every step of the way. We wanted a happy, affectionate, hypoallergenic dog for our new home, and boy... Did we get EXACTLY what we wanted!
I will always remember the first time my fiance, Jeremy, and I went to visit Lea, Lola, and Cassie. They welcomed us with open arms like we were family and so did all of their heavenly havanese babies!!! All the dogs were so free spirited, healthy, and happy- just like all dogs should be. Within minutes, we were SOLD on both the havanese breed AND with 2 Cute Havanese. Lea, Lola, and Cassie were a wealth of knowledge on the breed and answered every single one of our questions. They are a wonderful group of women that love and care for each one of their dogs. This is no ordinary breeder. We were in havanese heaven, and there was no turning back.
The down payment process went so smoothly. Cassie was very responsive and let me know the exact steps on how to reserve a pup. They run their business very fairly, and I loved how open and up front they were. I got a personal call every step of the way, and I appreciated the weekly updates on how the mom, Macy, was doing.
When Boba was born, I was elated. I can't tell you how happy I was to pick our baby boy. Cassie sent me about a million pics and updates (yes I bugged the crap out of her) and she was so happy to do so. Incredibly patient woman, who was genuinely as excited as we were to have Boba in our family. During the whelping process, Cassie would share tips and advice on how to integrate Boba into his new home. 2 cute havanese gave us a wonderful informational binder that outlined everything we needed. Very professional!!!!
Thanks to 2 cute havanese, Jeremy and I have the dog of our dreams. Boba is everything we ever wanted in a dog, and I rest easy knowing that he already came from a loving environment. "Spottie and Target fell into our laps through fate as we were not even looking for a dog. We have two very busy boys; one, of whom, happens to be allergic to dogs. But, by fate one evening, we were walking in a neighborhood after dinner and came across a man with the cutest and friendliest dog I have ever seen.
He told us she was a Havanese and raved about how she is the best dog she ever had. So we did some research on the AKC website and read about them, found out they are hypoallergenic and contacted this website.
As I said, we were not even looking for a dog much less dogs as we have to be very careful due to my son's allergies. We have been around other "supposed hypo allergenic" dogs (poodles, golden doodles, etc) and he had reactions so we had to approach with caution. When I first contacted Lola told me all about the dogs as a breed, the parents and the history of the puppies. I explained my son's allergies as we may not be able to purchase but that we would at least like to come look. She completely understood and even stated that she knows they are hypo allergenic but had never really encountered someone with issues so she was curious to see.
Well as you can see by their pictures, of course, we fell in love and picked two out immediately. BUT because my son had a small reaction that first visit, we decided follow up visits would be necessary. She was very accommodating not only to our busy schedule and our testing of the allergies but would also bathe them right before we came to see them. Within three visits we had no issues and knew it was going to be A-OK.
Picking up the puppies was both nerve-wracking and exciting. We peppered her with questions and she answered each and every one of them. She provided us with folders with all their history, vet details, paperwork etc so our first vet visit was easy, quick and straight forward. I knew they were "good stock" but the vet commented that they looked really good and very healthy!!!!
We very much want Lola to keep in touch with us so she can see how her puppies are growing. They have adapted very well into our household and we have not had any issues with allergies so the hypo allergenic is 100% true (at least in our case). They are a wonderful breed - very loving, sweet, fun, playful, love to be right beside you etc. And we are so glad we got two, they really love each other and are VERY SWEET together.
